The property is well furnished and fully equipped with everything that you need for a comfortable stay. There is ample parking space for cars and a patio with disabled access area overlooking the bay.
• Beds can be either super kingsize or single depending on requirements.
• A two person infra red sauna with light therapy.
•The house is centrally heated throughout.
•Large windows ensure you make the most of the panoramic views overlooking the bay and the village.
•There is a large enclosed garden area at the rear of the house ideal for children and pets to play safely.
•A built in barbeque and seating area at the side of the house offers views over the village.
•A cot with new mattress and a Maclaren buggy suitable from birth to 4 years available on request.

Barr na Creage has spectacular views looking out over Skigersta bay and across the Minch to Cape Wrath as well as overlooking the Skigersta pier and the cladach (sea shore) which is a short walk from the house. The surrounding moorlands are designated peat lands and are a haven for many kinds of birds and wildlife. There are several beautiful sandy beaches and machair with a wealth of flora and fauna in the surrounding area providing some of the finest scenery in Lewis, combining machair, beach and cliffs with a wealth of sea birds including the White Billed Diver.

I contact all our guests before arrival with directions to the property and to make sure that we have everything they need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The area is well-known for its wildlife, including many types of sea birds Nestling among the cliffs, and you may even spot the odd Dolphin, Porpoise (or even Killer Whale) right from your window! This is an idyllic location and a perfect base from which to explore the surrounding areas, Loch Stiapabhat nature reserve, the award winning Eoropie Dunes play park, fantastic beaches and coastal walks as well as the Callanish Standing Stones, Carloway Broch, and many other tourist attractions.
There are a wide range of activities on the island which vary throughout the year and there is something to suit everyone be it bird watching, hill walking, wildlife, surfing or fishing just to name a few.
