Our lock-off apartment with its own private entrance is located in the lower level of our home. It is set up as a 350 sq ft studio with a combined living room and bedroom area (heated by a gas fireplace), one bathroom, and a kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave, iCoffee Brewer, and electric teapot. Plus a view of the Gore Range from the bedroom!

We have a medium sized dog named Lilly and a cat named Sam. For our guests' comfort Lilly will always be leashed if she happens to be outside. She does enjoy a few barks to say hello and goodbye.
Welcome to The Fox Den! This rental is for the lower level of our home. It is locked-off from the upper level and has its own entrance. My husband and I occupy the upper level. Please no pets, no smoking inside, and REMOVE YOUR SHOES upon entering. We kindly ask that guests respect our home as if it were there own. All wheel drive/four wheel drive vehicles are strongly (yes, strongly!) recommended in the winter because the road we live on is steep in some spots and can get slippery and snowpacked when winter storms roll through.
Welcome! We have lived in Summit County for 17 years. Jerame is the chef at a local brewery and Juliana owns a gardening business. Our son recently graduated from trade school as a welder; and now that he is living on his own we decided to turn the lower level of our home, where our son used to live, into a lock-off apartment for short term rental. We are so thrilled to host guests in our home! A little tidbit about us - our goal for the last 10 years has been to move to the Caribbean and open our own cafe and rental property.
