Staying at Chimayo was a joy! The cozy accommodations were a perfect home base for our time in the Method Valley. The bed was super comfy, the stove in the common area was warm and there was just enough "kitchen" for all of our needs. With two bedrooms we could have taken our son too, which we will plan to do in the future. Peggy is a wonderful host who shared her patio with a commanding, beautiful view as well as her sweet dogs with us. This is a perfect get-a-way spot to stay!

Chimayo is perfect! The location and accommodations are spectacular. It was great to have the coffee/tea selections and fresh banana bread. We loved the outdoor space. It was a pleasure to enjoy evening and morning chats with Peggy. We appreciated her suggestions for spots to eat! Only problem, we had to leave. Thank you, Peggy.

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at Peggy's. There's a special feeling to this place - hanging out on the patio mornings and evenings was a treat. The indoor space is clean, well furnished, artistically decorated, and very convenient. We enjoyed the restaurants in Winthrop, and the recreation opportunities out there are endless. We did 3 great hikes, but there's lots more we could have done. Peggy was a great host - and went out of her way to make our stay the best.

We absolutely fell in love with Peggy's place: we adored the stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valley from het patio, we felt cozy in her beautiful decorated guesthouse and we loved her company. This place feels so remote and yet is just a few minutes drive from the enjoyable Winthrop. Peggy is an outstanding host: she had excellent suggestions for hikes and dips in the lakes, and was a real pleasure to chat with. Our children already miss playing with the dogs Otto and Tusker. We hope we'll revisit once!

Our stay at Peggy's home apartment was perfect! I was in town for a trail run in nearby Mazama. Loved that the location was close to Winthrop and yet secluded enough to relax in the beautiful valley. Peggy is such a gracious host. Beautiful and clean apartment with many special touches such as homemade bread and delicious coffee. Thanks for a wonderfully relaxing stay!

Peggy's property really is as beautiful as the photos. Expansive views of the surrounding mountains and valley, gorgeous sunsets, and all of the extraordinary colors of the high desert. Peggy was an excellent host, and we had a lovely time at her place.

I cannot recommend Peggy's place highly enough for anyone staying in the Winthrop area. We arrived to an immaculate and beautifully decorated suite with two comfortable queen beds, great amenities, a stunning view from the deck, and freshly baked muffins. Peggy was a delight to chat with and we loved her two dogs Tusker and Otto. Very close to Winthrop which has a great brewery, good food options, ice cream, etc. Amazing AirBnB. Thanks Peggy!

I live with two large Bernese Mountain Dogs on 20 acres; The property and the house feels quite remote, yet I am only 3 miles outside of Winthrop, Washington. I have two grown children and one baby grandson, all of whom live in Seattle.

I have worked and traveled extensively in Ethiopia, Kenya, `Tanzania, Haiti and Nepal; I lived for three years in northern Germany during the reunification. I would love to welcome you into my home, perched high above the Chewuch River in the spectacular, 4-season playground of the Methow Valley and would find it a privilege to introduce you to the recreational, community and cultural activities in the valley.
