The 480 sq. ft. 1-BR kitchen-equipped apt. with A/C bedroom, by Tamarindo beach, is a nice and clean basic, rustic, secluded, self-catering lodging, surrounded by 60 acres of undeveloped greenery, with great views, stunning sunsets, easy walk-in to a remarkable reef, ideal to get away from the norm of everyday living and enjoy a refreshing change of pace. We offer security and a caretaker is on call at the estate to care for guest’s needs. Guest may also use a beach-house next to the ocean.

Check-in time is 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Children over 5 yrs. old are welcome. Booking is not transferable to another person. Booker must be present during the stay. Absolutely no more guests than booked. The airplane is the suggested best means to travel to Culebra for reliability and timeliness. Ferry tickets are not normally sold in advance, thus the prospective passenger is oftentimes subject to long lines by the ferry ticket office. Guests may use the facilities provided at Tamarindo Estates, including the use of the beach-house during the day. Facilities are for booked guests’ use only. No parties or events. No loud music. No pets. No smoking in the apartment. Smoking in the porch is acceptable.
- If Guest cancels more than 30 days prior to date of arrival, 65% of the amount paid to Host will be returned. If cancellation is made 30 days or less prior to arrival, the amount already paid to Host is not refundable.
- In the living-kitchen area of the apartment there is a “couch” (a 30x72 inches rollaway cot) and also a standard type sofa.

The place is at an amazing snorkeling beach and snorkeling gear can be rented right down the street. The view is incredible! What really bothered us was that the bed for the third person was not made, there was just a fold out bed in the corner. There is also not enough space for a third person. I think for the price we paid we could expect all beds to be prepared. We definitely recommend this place for couples or simply 2 people. The location and the view made up for it though!

This apartment is amazing. It has an excellent view of the surrounding hills and ocean, great wifi, good cookware, and some of the BEST snorkeling on the island is located near their private beach. Linda and Mina are also wonderful hosts, both were very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this apartment to anyone staying in Culebra.

Tamarindo Estates is a very special place with a wonderful view, snorkeling beach, walking distance from the best beach in the world, Flamenco Beach Culebra, and it's all peace and quiet. We loved it! And, want to go back. (Rent a Golf Car as soon as you get out of the Ferry!... (Rent a Jeep if you are traveling with Babys.)
