Échanges avec les voyageurs
Hosts would be more than pleased to take phone calls at any time to assist with any query, concern or advise. We would welcome any interaction that would make your stay more enjoyable.
There is an island/bridge that allows access to the river, however the river splits and only the water on "our" side of the island should be accessed, as neighbours legally own the opposite side, but we(and they) prefer not to fence it. You'll see........
You're welcome to use plastic chairs to sit in the river in the warmer weather, or feed the fish at night from the main Bridge.
- Neighbours are permanent residents so normal courtesies and respect of their privacy and peacfulness would be expected.
- Only fires can be lit in the firepit - or the wood fire indoors -when safe and within all fire restrictions applicable. Under no circumstances can any fires be lit on total fire ban days. Guests will be totally reponsible for any fire lit on any part of the property, including the fire-pit.
- Children under 8 (eight years) cannot stay due to the proximity of the unfenced river which poses a threat to unsupervised children. Adult supervision is required at all times for chidren in and near the river.

Retired and have owned Rivers Edge Buxton property since 2005.
Both have travelled to many overseas and Australian destinations, and experienced the various levels of accommodation offerred. We treat Buxton as our sanctuary, and only recently decided to list the cabin withAirbnb (Jan 2017). We trust that our guests will also experience the unique enjoyment that Rivers Edge offers, and that hopefully leads to an ongoing relationship with the property. We are happy to be contacted on mobile to chat relating to any aspect of Rivers Edge and the local surrounds.
