Located in the secluded pines of Schuss Village at Shanty Creek Resort, the resort has something to offer for all seasons: golf/biking/hiking, mountain biking at nearby Glacial Hills, close to Chain O'Lakes in the spring/summer, colors in the fall and skiing and snowmobiling in the winter. The resort shuttle offers transportation service to all 3 Shanty villages and to Bellaire.

USE: It is expected tenants will treat this property like a home. The premises shall be used as a vacation home with no more than 14 adults/children. If more than 14 occupy the home, at any time, Shanty Creek Resort Security has permission to enter the premise during the rental and ask all guests to leave if there are more than 14 occupants. The remaining rental monies will not be returned.

Campers/RVs/tents are not allowed on the property. This is against Association rules.

PETS: No pets shall be brought on the premises, either inside or outside, without prior written consent of the Landlord.

HOUSE RULES: Tenant shall not perform any illegal activity on the premises.
Tenant shall not disturb the neighbors with loud noises, parties, or disruptive behaviors (of own person/friends/family).

CLEANING: Cleaning fee is $200.00.

DAMAGES: Any damages to property, house or household items will be deducted from deposit. If damages exceed deposit, Tenant will be billed for damages. Landlord reserves right to pursue legal action if Tenant does not reimburse Landlord for expenses.

ACCESS: Tenant will be provided key for entrance to the home upon arrival prior. Key shall be left at home upon vacating.

ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS: The Landlord shall be released from liability arising from loss, damage, or injury caused by fire or other casualty for which insurance is carried by the Tenant, under a policy which permits waiver of liability and waives the insurer’s rights of subrogation to the extent of any recovery by the insured party under the policy.

Parking is allowed on the street and driveway. Parking is not allowed on the grass.

Excess garbage should be disposed by the Tenant at the Schuss Village garbage containers located behind Ivans at Schuss Village.

All appliances are on loan to the Tenant. Any damage will be deducted from the deposit.

The Tenant agrees, upon vacating, to either remove all personal items from premises or pay a $250.00 fee.

ATTORNEY FEES: In the event any legal action is brought by either party to enforce the terms herein or elating to the demised premises, the Landlord shall be entitled to all costs incurred in connection with such action, unless ruled other wise by the court.

If you're looking for a house to book in the Bellaire, Shanty Creek, or Torch Lake area, and you have a large amount of people, look no further! Amy's cabin is a part of Shanty Creek, but its remote location in the woods provides a lot of privacy. We took advantage of the $2 shuttle rides too and from Bellaire and while it took awhile to figure out exactly who to call to get this shuttle, once the dust settled it was perfect. Amy's place has it all- a finished basement with foosball, and ping-pong. Two large bedrooms and a full bath reside downstairs with a futon for extra sleeping arrangements. Upstairs has a large, open layout upon entry that includes a kitchen, dining room and living room that all has perfect views of the trees that surround it. Amy graciously provided us access to her really nice grill and we were able to enjoy the back patio as well. I didn't think I'd find an AirBnB for 12 people to all sleep comfortably, but Amy's place more than accommodated.

Great space for a family reunion. First floor bedrooms and bathrooms were ideal for guests with mobility issues. Large open floor plan was nice for socializing with friends and family. Large kitchen counter. Wild raspberries around home were ripe and enjoyed by all ages. Peaceful setting in CC forest. Very neat and clean and homey. Amy was great at communicating and very helpful when one of our guests lost his hearing aides. This home met all of our needs. Be aware that it may be against the rules if you drive something other than a traditional vehicle. One guest arrived via truck camper (as it is their only vehicle since they are full-time RVers) and on our last day Amy called to tell us that having an RV in the driveway is against HOA rules.

The house was great in an excellent location. The house was set up great for multiple couples. The communications were quick and easy! Amy was very good about responding quickly when we had questions. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone.
