Moonfleet is situated in the heart of Rye above WiDEYE our natural skin and body care store. From the rear of the apartment there are widespread views across Rye over towards the Romney Marshes. From the front you have a birds eye view of the pretty high street, ideal for enjoying events such as our Bonfire celebrations and Christmas in Rye. We have a great selection of cafes and restaurants on our doorstep. Offers are available on our WiDEYE Treatments so do contact us for more information.
Our 18th century period apartment is full of all the character and charm you would expect from this unique cinque ports town. It is set on Two floors with the Kitchen, dining room and bathroom on the 1st floor and the Two bedrooms at the top of the house. The kitchen overlooks the high street and is well equipped with all the cooking facilities and utensils necessary for dining in. The bathroom is next door to the kitchen where you can enjoy a bath or a shower. Entering the the living Room on the same floor you take in the fantastic views over the marsh. There is a dining table which comfortably seats 4 and 2 comfy sofas where you can relax and watch the world go by. Upstairs we have the generous sized master bedroom with the same wonderful views as the living room and a comfortable kingsize bed. The bedroom opposite has the character of a beautiful attic bedroom with views over the rooftops and two single beds. There are wardrobes in both rooms for you to hang your clothes. Our apartment is cosy and yet spacious, with all the lovely light flooding through large windows throughout. It comfortably sleeps a couple with up to 3 children or 2 couples, and we are happy to supply a travel cot or high chair on request. It is worth noting that the stairs leading to the two levels are a a little bit steep and narrow so elderly people or young children need to take care.

If you are arriving by car it is possible to unload bags outside the apartment, and there is parking for up to an hour if you find a parking spot in the town centre. For long stay there are car parks dotted around the centre the closest to our apartment is on the Salts at the bottom of the hill beside the playground and the bowling green. The cheapest parking is available at the Cattle market car park near the station for £1.50 but this is not available on a Thursday which is market day.
We feel that as there is no garden it is only suitable for smaller dogs. However do ask us anyway as it does depend on the temperament of your dog.
We ask that dogs are not left alone in the flat as they can become distressed.
We like to stress that due to the stairs our flat may not be suitable for crawling and toddling children. We would say that ideally children need to be babes in arms or over 3.
