My place is close to the beach, Calshot Castle and Activities Centre, a few minutes from The New Forest and is within the National Park. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, anyone working locally and families (it's a double room but I can also provide an air bed).
My house was part of the Squadron Leaders mess during the World Wars. It is a warm and comfortable home. The bedroom is cosy with a view of the garden. It has two bedside tables with drawers, perfect for folded clothes. There are also hangers for clothes. The house is in a peaceful location. It is very quiet although, as it is so close to the sea, you may hear foghorns during bad weather.
Accès des voyageurs
Guests are very welcome to use the kitchen and living room, just ask. You can also use the garden if you wish. There is driveway parking for two cars and secure storage for bikes.
Échanges avec les voyageurs
I will be there to welcome guests upon arrival. I am usually around to answer any questions.
Please note, I have a dog. She is very friendly and excellent with children.
The bedroom is lockable from the inside only by way of a cabin hook.
A breakfast of toast, cereals and croissants is included in the price. Full English is an extra £5.50 per person, payable on arrival. Please notify me at the time of booking if you require this. Check in time is flexible. Please contact me in advance to arrange as I am often in and out.
If you want to book and the dates you require are showing as unavailable, please contact me. Sometimes I have blocked dates out because I have limited time for check in/out so it may still be possible for me to accommodate you.
No smoking in the property but you are welcome to smoke in the garden.
Please remove shoes before going upstairs.
My dog is obsessed with tennis balls and may want you to play. Unfortunately she has an ongoing problem with her joints so please don't throw the ball for her.
I grew up in London and lived there all my life until recently when I moved to The New Forest. I enjoy getting out and walking my dog in the forest and on the beach.
I enjoy cooking, reading, travelling, writing and films.
