This spacious apartment is attached to our family home. It is ideal for a couple travelling with a baby or small child. Centrally located, it is easy to explore and enjoy Cape Town from here, but offers enough space and recreation for a day at home with a tired little traveler.
The apartment is private and has its own courtyard, but you'll have access to our family garden with trampoline, swimming pool and jungle gym. We have a nanny living with us that could babysit at night.
The apartment has a large open plan living area with fully equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge. Bathroom with bath and shower and a bedroom with king sized bed (two singles together).

The apartment is attached to our family home, so we will mostly be on the premises. We have four small children aged 6 months, 2 years, 4 years and 6 years. We also have a friendly family dog. Some noise from the children is inevitable, we hope mostly laughter. We'd love our kids to meet people from all over the world right here in their own garden!
Having a baby and toddler and small kids in our house means we know the doctors in the area that are best with kids, the restaurants where they are welcome and have fun, the play areas etc. We also have stock of prams, car seats, toys, band aids, kid medicine etc. that we are happy to share as needed.
We have a wonderful nanny that lives with us, offering the possibility of a date night without the kids from time to time. She is available to babysit for a fee when we are not out. There are restaurants within walking distance from our home, so we can always call you back if there is a problem.
There is high speed fibre and a smart TV. No normal TV channels.

I've been in Cape Town for 20 years now and am still overwhelmed daily by the natural beauty of this place.
I love spending time in nature, and walk in the mountains around our home almost daily.
I am the daughter of Dutch immigrants, and my husband, the son of German immigrants, which is why I speak Dutch and (passable) German as well as Afrikaans and English.
I used to work as a dietitian, now I am a full time mother of four. Once my youngest goes to school I may go back to work.
In the meantime, I do my best to enjoy every day with my three girls and one boy.
