Halcyon House is close to parks, arts and culture, great restaurants and dining. You’ll love our home because of the exceptional mountain views from every direction, the comfy beds, and the coziness. Halcyon House is a quiet and peaceful place for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers, wishing to get away from the hustle and bustle of life.
A light continental type breakfast will be in the upstairs hall, with snacks, coffee and tea available anytime.
We have a special setting here in Crozet at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains, with million dollar views. Our drive is private and shared by only 4 other families so traffic is minimal. You will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere yet Charlottesville and the University of Va are just 20 minutes away full of great restaurants and fun things to do. Wintergreen Resort is only 35 minutes away. Monticello, home of Thomas Jefferson, is always a favorite place to visit.
There is something for everyone, hiking, local wineries and breweries, Star Hill is only a mile away. Old Trail Golf Course is just a few minutes from here and we have several good restaurants here in Crozet, too.
The Green Room and The Blue Room are connected by a Jack n Jill bathroom which, for privacy purposes, I only let one room book at a time. For larger groups, please ask about using both rooms with the connecting bathroom for a reduced rate.

Hi, I'm Ros!
I'm a country girl that grew up on a farm in Virginia, who rode horses, professionally, most of my life before children.
Married, to my husband Patrick, also a horseman, with two children, Liz and Chris. I retired from riding to raise our children, at which time I started playing soccer and then became a potter. My pottery studio is in our basement and all our AirBnB guests will receive a 10% discount on purchases.
My husband, Patrick, runs the family race horse farm right here in Crozet. A tour of the facility can be arranged. It's within walking distance of Halcyon House, in case you are interested in the exercise and being outside.
We are fairly new to hosting on AirBnB so we welcome any and all critiques from our friends and guests.
