A beautifully renovated Portuguese Villa with high ceilings, spacious dining/kitchen and living room. The interiors are done in keeping with the old style but have a tastefully done modern side to it. The place retains its original heritage but is more functional. A large porch wraps around 2 sides of the house with a very spacious sitting area over looking the garden. The garden has a small Pool and the house is very private. No neighbours just forest. A maid comes daily and can baby sit.
Our house is a great place for families. Lots of room to play and a garden with a pool that is not too deep. Our 2 children learned to swim here. The place is very very private and quite unusual in that sense for Goa. There are no immediate neighbours overlooking the property. It is ideal if you want a retreat and especially ideal for a romantic getaway. We have a domestic helper who comes every day and she does the cleaning and if you wish she can cook for you too. Excellent Indian food plus simple continental. You will of course have to supply the ingredients. She is open for extra work like baby sitting and has doe a great job of this for our guests so far. She charges extra for this. We have newspapers and a packet of milk everyday supplied daily.....just to get your day started properly.

We (John and Sylvia) may or may not be available when you stay. Either way the house is all yours 100%. We may pop by and say hello and if we are in the area. This would be quite likely if we are not at our farm house. We dont usually socialize with our guests but if you need to speak to us we will be available.
If you need to rent bikes, taxis or even self drive cars then we have a local person who can help you with that. Just let us know in advance. As we already said it is possible for our domestic helper to babysit for you at an extra cost. She does a great job.
- We are quite flexible with our house as long as you respect the place. Any damage will have to be paid for by the guest. We have a lady who comes every day except Sunday to clean the place. She will also do your baby sitting if you ask. But please respect her.
- There are 2 cats in the house. Please treat them as family members. They are very sweet and friendly.

Both of us are outdoor lovers. When we are not in Goa we spend most of our time in the Jungle of the Goa/Karnataka border at our farm house known as Off The Grid. You may also find John running his rafting trips during the monsoon months (July to September) Goa Rafting and Sylvia's passion in life is pottery. There is a studio at the house. You may find her there or at her studio in the farm house.
