Judith, I wish I could agree with you but lacks a bit of common sense on your words. If the place was as bad as you said I wouldn't have close to 50% of my reviews 5 stars. The hair was probably yours since I do laundry on all bed sheets in between the guests and they're NEVER reused without being washed first plus, the floor is always swept and mopped. We also have a backup of all bed sheets in case the guest drop any liquid or need under any circumstances. You didn't mention anything about it during your check in process. The mattress was bought last March and I still have the receipt to prove it matching with mattress tag. The living room is my studio and home office and the curtain is to have some privacy while working. I don't know exactly what do you mean by "appointment to discuss refund" once my listings offer 100% refund (read everything before booking next time) and this is not a hotel where you have a customer service counter, this is a home of a clean person with a spare room to rent. About finding this expensive, let me give you a picture of Toronto Downtown, parking for over 12 hours = CAD30 and I offer with the listing with no extra cost. Private room with AC, 150meters from the Subway, 24 hours bus just one block walking distance, can cook, bring an extra guest, unlimited high-speed internet, during the busiest season for CAD50/night expensive? Once again, no common sense. I was quite light by saying that I could not recommend you since you canceled your booking but I should have been more transparent (living and learning).
