Our home is a cozy 2 bedroom apartment close to everything in a trendy Montreal neighbourhood. We're 2 minutes from the metro, Lachine Canal, Atwater market, and lots of iconic MTL spots.
Guests stay in the spare bedroom, but have access to the entire apartment. The space is a lived-in, well-loved home full of charm, nice smells, and a cute cat.
Your room is small, but clean and cozy, with a dresser, double mattress, and armchair. It's perfect for a couple, close friends, or the solo-traveler.
We have a spacious 5 1/2 apartment with a big backyard that is basically an oasis, complete with neighbourhood cats, tall trees, hanging vines, and the night sky.
Accès des voyageurs
You can hang out anywhere! You'll get a key to front door and are welcome to come and go as you please. There's no curfew and we're flexible on check in's/out's when we can be.
Felix and I love to interact with guests. What's your story?
Échanges avec les voyageurs
We're here to offer you recommendations, have a beer with you on the back porch, and to share stories and experiences. We love politics, global affairs, traveling and new ideas. I'm a Montreal native and work for a neat, innovative start-up (the non-tech kind; we'll discuss), am a grad-student, and have a background in organizing and local politics. Felix is an urban-planner/community organizer/idea factory with a unique international background. We are both bilingual (English and French), and Felix speaks Arabic.
Our apartment is not a 5-Star hotel. Our rate is comparable to a bunk in a hostel dorm room, except with us you get a private room, a clean albeit shared bathroom/kitchen, friendly hosts interested in chatting with you (if you want to!!), and somewhere completely safe to crash. There's nothing more disappointing for us than welcoming people who expected a more hotel-like experience and leave disappointed. If that's what you're looking for that's great! But in Montreal, that will cost more than our rate per night. If, however, you're laid back, interested in an authentic experience of the city, and on a budget, this listing is for you.
Basically what I'm trying to say here is Cool Kids Only ;)
We are 4/20 friendly.
We adore hosting and getting to know new people. We're not at home 24/7, but in the evenings you'll find us cooking up a storm over a glass of wine or beer. We've been known to offer up a glass and a chair, or even a night out with friends if we really click with our guest.
We just ask that you respect our home.
To smoke, please use the front or back porch. Please don't smoke in the house. 420 friendly.
Montreal native living with my French/Australian boyfriend and our cat Cosmo. We love hosting and try to go above and beyond when it comes to making you feel welcome and showing you our city.
