Brand new, out of the box, totally remodeled home in the Fletcher Bay area of Bainbridge Island. This mid-century modern inspired home is centrally located making sight seeing or commuting a breeze. The home features a spacious great room with a gourmet kitchen with new cabinets, counters, appliances and flooring. The living area opens up to a new deck with gas grill, outdoor dining, and loungers. With 2 new full baths, 3 bedrooms, and a private office, this home comfortably accommodates 8.
We are offering the results of a yearlong renovation. This home has never been occupied since completion. We spared no expense with new paint (inside & out), new flooring, tile and carpeting. The gourmet kitchen has been outfitted with new granite countertops, cabinets, lighting, fixtures and high-end appliances. We incorporated a new fireplace into the design to add warmth to the new great room. Both bathrooms have been completely remodeled with new cabinets, countertops, fixtures, lighting, and tile. The hall bathroom has a tub/shower configuration and the master bathroom has a walk-in shower and two sinks. The master bedroom is en suite and has new French doors that open up to a new cedar deck which takes advantage of the western exposure.
We designed this home with casual and comfortable living in mind. The western exposure, along with the skylights, makes this home bright and cheerful. A great deal of time went into the design details and furnishings. We were influenced by Mid Century Modern design and the furnishings are a mix of new and vintage pieces. You will find original artwork mixed in with prints. The artwork will be rotated out on occasion.
We travel quite a bit and stay in AirBnB properties when we can. With this in mind we tried to include the details we appreciate or would like when preparing a home for guests. Both WIFI and wired Internet access is available. The office provides a workspace with a desk and printer (wireless, print, copy, scan). The great room has a 60 inch smart Samsung TV with surround sound.
The master bedroom sleeps two with a king size bed, the 2nd bedroom sleeps two with a queen size bed, and the 3rd bedroom has sleeps two with 2 twin size beds. The office can be used as a 4th bedroom with a couch that convert to a queen bed along with privacy glass in the door.
We moved to Bainbridge Island 5 years ago from Dallas and have fallen in love with Bainbridge Island. This part of the world has so much beauty and many activities. There is plenty to do on Bainbridge Island with its parks, beaches, restaurants, markets, and shops that you can spend your entire time on the island. But we are a 35 minute ferry ride into Seattle, and our location makes a great jumping off point for the Olympics, San Juan Islands, other amazing sites.
Please note: Our home is family friendly, but it is not childproofed. Cabinets and outlets are not baby-proofed, and we have not attached cabinets to the walls. We have 3 children - 2 teenagers & 1 young adult, but remember the days of toddler hazards, so we ask guests insure their young children do not get into trouble.

Guest have full access to the house and yard. There is ample parking space in the driveway. Dependent on space available, garage parking may be an option.

We live close by and are available if needed. You will find a binder at the house with information on local attractions, restaurants, hikes, etc. If you need suggestions or have questions we are happy to assist you. You will find our numbers in the binder. If we are traveling, you will be provided with a local back-up's contact information.
If you would like to have the house stocked with basic groceries for your arrival, our housekeeper/gardener will go shopping for you for an additional fee.
If you are interested in a boat ride or horseback riding (experienced rider only), please contact us and we can discuss our availability. We own a a 2016 24' Jeanneau and 2 Tennessee Walking Horses.
Our yard and garden will need periodic maintenance. We will contact you ahead of time if work needs to be done and we will work around your schedule.

- Renting guest must be over 25 and will be an occupant the entire reserved period. Government Identification for age verification may be requested prior to or at check-in.
-Quiet time from 11:00pm - 7:00am.
- Report any damage immediately.
- This home is immaculate - everything is new. If excessive wear and tear is found on property, or additional cleaning is necessary due to spills, trash left on site, unclean dishes, stains to furniture, carpeting, linens, walls or flooring, Guest authorizes Owner to bill them for additional fees to cover damages.
- This is a quiet neighborhood. Please be respectful of neighbors. Quiet Hours 10:30pm - 7:00am.
If Owner receives information about excessive noise, Owner has the right to evict the Guests and all occupants immediately and to bill the Guest a minimum service fee of $200.
- There will be more detail in the information binder, but generally we are asking you leave the property tidy, with no dirty dishes, trash placed in designated trash cans, and dirty linens in laundry room.

My husband, Brokaw, and I live on Bainbridge Island with 2 kids (ages 14 & 16), dog, cats and horses. We have our home here on Bainbridge, as well as a house in Maine and a farm in Illinois, so we are very mindful about respecting others' home and ask the same of our guests.
