My girlfriend and I began our stay on a very sour note. We showed up around 10:30 am when check in was said to be anytime after 8 am. We sat in a waiting room for 15 minutes or so until we were aggravated enough to go back to the front desk and find out why we hadn't just received the keys to begin our stay. We finally got to speak to Lauren and we were told that the apartment was not clean and wouldn't be for some time. Upon this information we then asked if we could drop our stuff off and go get some lunch to pass the time. Long story short, the apartment wasn't fully ready until 3:30pm. A far cry from the 8 am check in point. All of this was done very unprofessionally. After that though we kept to ourselves and enjoyed the prime location and comfort of the apartment. Overall, the place is quite nice and convenient. We enjoyed the rest of our time, and only wish the management had been better. The apartment complex is actually running the Airbnb so this should be sorted through better business practices. Lauren was not very hospitable and seems to lack the skills to be the Airbnb host and work for the leasing department as well. This was demonstrated by her promising to take a day off of our price for our inconvenience and not doing so after a week has passed since our check out. Also by seeing us multiple times throughout our stay and not asking us how things were going or acknowledging us at all. Im not one to complain, but I feel this needed to be shared. I've stayed at multiple Airbnb's and never had an issue.
