My house is on a quiet street in a safe, residential neighborhood. The emphasis here is on independence. You will reside in a master bedroom suite with a private bath and private entrance. Enjoy the adjoining lanai, a hot tub, and hammock in the back yard. Outside your door is an adjoining laundry room. A second door separates your quarters from the rest of the house. All doors are locking. No breakfast served, but coffee, cream, a coffee maker, microwave, toaster and mini fridge are provided.
A large room includes two fans and an air conditioning unit. Adjust to your own comfort level. Outside the room is a lanai and outside the lanai is a closed-in backyard which provides a nice space for your pet, and it's also a shady and comfortable spot to enjoy anytime of the day or night.

The bedroom and private bath is your exclusive space. Common spaces are the lanai and the backyard. The jacuzzi is in the lanai, and can be used in total privacy by pulling down the shades on the french doors.
While I may occasionally offer you use of the kitchen and living room areas, these areas are generally my private space, so please don't expect cooking facilities. However the guest room is equipped with a microwave, a toaster over, coffee makers, and a mini fridge.

I've been living in Sarasota for a couple of years, so let me know if you have any questions about things to do, places to visit, etc.
There is a large walk-in closet where you can store lots of stuff. There are a couple of boogie boards that you are welcome to use at the beach. Ask for access to the garage where I have extra bikes, helmets, and a bike mount which allows you to take them with you on a day's outing. If you play tennis, leave your racket at home. Use the very decent ones here instead. Also, an air mattress and futon are available if needed.
- No drugs please
I worked in the software industry in Boston for most of my career, and then retired and moved down to Sarasota in 2014. These days I play tennis, bike, swim, and do quite a bit of volunteer work. I'm also an avid go player, which is a Chinese board game.
