This little flat is close to Gatwick airport and is located opposite a lovely Park. It has its own front door; two large rooms, excellent storage facilities and even a few kitchen appliances for extra privacy. Free WiFi is included as standard as is free off-street parking and there is a TV with Sky package giving guests access to over 100 TV channels. Caterham is a safe, Surrey town with a typical English village feel to it yet it is less than an hour from Central London. The perfect location.
Although this holiday flat does not include a large fitted kitchen, it does have the essential kitchen appliances for extra comfort and privacy. There are two good sized rooms and an ensuite bathroom in the flat. The main bedroom has a large double bed and the bathroom is accessed from this room. The second room includes a kettle, a toaster, a fridge, a combo microwave, an extendable table, chairs, crockery, cutlery and kitchen towels and linens. Breakfast and light meals can be prepared in the second room if required. It is a perfect space for busy tourists on a tight holiday schedule but it could also suit people re-locating to the area for work or visiting relatives and friends or waiting for house repairs or house purchases to go through or more

Guests will have private use of their own two room holiday apartment including ensuite bathroom which is located in the upper floor of this historical Edwardian house. All the rooms in the house have been modernized and decorated but they still have all the original Edwardian features. To access their accommodation guests will need to use the communal front door, hall and stairs. They can book use of the washing machine in the utility room when available from Monday to Friday and use of the main kitchen on the ground floor also when available. The guest accommodation does, of course, include a table, crockery, cutlery and a few appliances to enable guests to prepare breakfast and basic meals in their own private space. During the summer months guests can book the garden with gas BBQ if they wish to.

We are always available to assist guests whenever they need us and we can certainly recommend interesting activities in the local area which they may wish to try, but we are also mindful of the fact that guests also need their privacy; we have been in situations ourselves where landlords were far too present in our holiday planning and in our family time together so we consider the privacy of our guests to be as important to them as any assistance we may be able to provide. Both are to be equally respected by us.
We have a very friendly rescue cat who often acts as a 'therapy' cat for friends and guests. Guests are welcome to spend time with her in their own flat if they wish. She does not have free access to guest accommodation or to the communal areas guests use unless guests request this so guests who are not pet lovers do not need to worry about running into her on the way in or out of the house.
This is a quiet household so it would not suit large groups or party weekends. We are very safety conscious and we expect our guests to respect that at all times; if we feel that guests are putting themselves and others at risk we will ask them to leave immediately.
