Born in the the states, lived in Mexico, been in the land of the rising sun for 20 years. If you want to know bout things Kyoto, I have your back. And if I don't, we have an English school with a zillion eager locals that do;) I split my time mostly between washing dishes and making the daily specials in my cafe and running the Kyoto Kozmoz Food Bank and my family runs an English School. Have absolutely loved raising my family in Japan and enjoying things Japanese but nothing Japanese on the menu in our cafe only the smokey grilled aroma from back home and ice cold beers to wash the goodies down with. I love to share my little corner of America removed with anyone who has had their share of sushi and is looking for a real Hamburger or Deli Sandwich while enjoying jazz and blues.
