It's a decent place. Decent value for the money. Shower and water pressure were good and the place was clean. It is not close to the city centre but you can get there using one tram/bus. The area is safe and relatively quiet.
The drawbacks were the fact that we didn't really get two proper beds - we got two pallets low to the ground with thin single mattresses. There weren't separate rooms for us either - just one all purpose room with attached kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen is stocked with plates and pans and utensils and a mini fridge. The bathroom has a washer but no dryer, although we didn't use the washer.
A big drawback is the wi fi - which is almost nonexistent. My friend tested the speed and it came to 0.01 Mbps. We couldn't do anything online and this is important because wi fi is probably the number one necessity for people coming in from out of town. We needed it to look up things, get directions, communicate with our friends and loved ones, etc., yet we couldn't! My friend tried to bring this up with Stefan but he only replied that it was perfectly normal.
My last difficulty was with the check in time. It says 12 - midday - on the listing so I planned my flight to arrive for a little after that. A couple of weeks before my trip, Stefan told me that the check in would have to be 3 pm without any explanation. I said ok, fine. Then, the day before, Stefan messaged me and said that it would be 4, once again without any explanation or apology. I asked if I could simply drop off my heavy luggage before that and then come back at 4 as I would be very tired and it is difficult to wheel luggage around for 3 hours while you wait. He said no. I showed up around 4 and the guy who met me was not him, nor could he speak English. Stefan knew I couldn't speak German but did not tell me any of this or go to any trouble to make this process easier. In the end, I never met Stefan and I got the feeling that he's doing the airbnb thing with not too much effort, just enough to make things passable. It was ok but I felt like things could have gone wrong in terms of my arrival and getting the keys, if circumstances had gone slightly differently.
So - it was ok, not bad but not as great as some of the other airbnb experiences I've had. At the end of the day, the price is good and these are the reasons why.
