Our house is close to Mall of Louisiana, Perkins Rowe, downtown, casinos and numerous restaurants. The interstate is only a few minutes away, so it's very easy to jump on and go to New Orleans or see a local plantation for a day visit! We're also down the road, about 20 minutes, from Louisiana State University. You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed and the high ceilings. My husband and I love meeting new people and teaching our son about new cultures!
My husband and I have a few furbabies in addition to our real baby! Our son is 2 years old and we also have 1 collie/terrier dog, and 2 cats. Our dog, Lola, is convinced that she is a lapdog, but as long as you sit on the couch where she's not allowed your lap will be safe! One of our cats, Zazzles keeps to himself for the most part. Our other cat, Olaf, is less then a year old and absolutely loves to be up in your business!
If you have a baby, that's ok! We know it can be difficult traveling with them, so we have a pack n play (clean sheet included) that you're welcome to use! Our house is toddler proofed and your room will be behind a baby gate so no need to worry about the dog!

We have a small home gym with a treadmill and a couple of weights that you're more then welcome to enjoy! If you're more of an outside runner though our neighborhood has sidewalks, as well as the beautiful neighborhood across the street! We also live less then a mile away from a BREC Park with a splash pad in the summer time for the little ones, tennis courts, 2 jungle gyms, and pavilions you can rent!

We'd love to talk to you and get to know you, but we understand that privacy is highly valued as well! Let us know what you'd like, and we'd love to pop up a bottle of wine and get to know you! If that's not your thing though we will be more then happy to suggest local places to eat and visit and stay our of your hair! =)
- You'll be sharing the house with me, my husband, and our son who is almost 2. He's a pretty heavy sleeper, but please respect noise levels between 10pm and 7am!
Hello! My husband and I got married in 2013 and welcomed a baby (who is now a toddler - Ah!) in 2015. We also have a few furbabies - one dog named Lola, a Bengal cat named Zazzles, and a ragdoll cat named Olaf. I love sewing, reading, and running. My husband loves to read any and all Star Wars books, running, and LSU soccer. Geaux tigers!
We've hosted a couple times in the past and I think our favorite part of hosting is showing people what Louisiana has to offer! We have the best food hands down, beautiful plantations, and where else can you go on a swamp tour?! We love welcoming people into our home so we can learn about new cultures. It's difficult for us to travel right now, so we'd love to hear where your from and what we need to see out there in the world!
