We had a good trip to Andjelija's place in Sveti Stasije. It was really close to a supermarket, a car hire place, bus stops and also to the beach so it was perfectly located. The coast heading to Dobrota and Kotor is full of little beaches and great restaurants and the whole area was not too busy compared to Kotor so it was the perfect location.
The place is good if a little small and very functional. What isn't obvious is that it is part of a three level house of flats and that there is another flat right next to this one. As such, the balconies are pretty much joining so there is a little bit of privacy lost by that. Other than that, the flat is just as pictured and described.
In terms of our stay, we had a slight strange, changeable trip. Our arrival was not good as, in the run up, Andjelija didn't give us the exact address even after we asked several times. This made it hard for us to work out the best way for us to get there. Equally, the listing is described as being in Sveti Stasije but the map on the Airbnb listing says it is in Tivat. This meant that my girlfriend (who arrived before me) booked her bus to Tivat and then had to haggle her way to get to Kotor.
Otherwise, during our stay one, the tap in the bathroom broke, we explained this to Andjelija and she said someone would come fix it, not indicating that this was a problem. However, a few days after fixing it, she messaged us to ask for payment for the repair. She also mentioned that the table on the balcony was destroyed because we had spilled some wax on it from a candle. We cleared up the majority of the wax and explained that the tap broke in usual use so we shouldn't pay for it which Andjelija was okay with but it was a bit saddening that she had asked us to pay for these things.
Outside of this, the stay was fine but these few little incidents took the gloss off of what was a great stay and a great trip.
