I won't be bullied or threatened into giving you a refund for a weekend that you stayed at our cabin. Our home is exactly as described on our Airbnb ad. Just read our many, many 4 & 5 star reviews.
1. Yes, our home is just 2 bedrooms as our ad clearly states. We have 1 queen bed in each bedroom, a queen sofa bed in the living room and 2 roll away beds in each bedroom closet--these are not cots but roll away beds as stated in our Airbnb ad. The photos on Airbnb are exactly as the bedrooms are and they only show a queen bed in each bedroom. If you brought up more than 8 guests than there wouldn't be enough beds. However, you stated that you only had 5 guests, so I'm not sure what the problem is.
2. Security is excellent at our home. We have an alarm system and we are in a very safe neighborhood with many full-time neighbors. It's unfortunate that you got a $150 ticket for illegally parking a car in the middle of the street overnight. The car blocked the entire street so the neighbors called Code Enforcement on you. I thought it was very sweet of my 65 year old house keeper go to the cabin (at 1:00 AM) to tell you that your car would be towed. Even after she told you to move the car out of the street the car was left in the street overnight. Fortunately it didn't also get towed. Our Rental Agreement and Ad clearly state we only have parking for 2 cars. You could have told me you had another car when we spoke by phone 3 times upon you arrival and I would have told you where you could park the extra car. There is a prominent Code Enforcement sign posted on the front of our cabin that clearly states parking is for just 2 cars on the property.
3. Communication was not horrible. You and I text messaged each other a few times before your arrival. You and I spoke on the phone 3 times when you arrived Friday night and at that time you said our home was "so nice". Each time you called me I answered my cell phone, including the calls that came in after 9:30 PM and I would have continued to answer your calls if you would have called me after Friday. You never called or texted me again during your stay. I did get an email from you on your check out day asking for a refund and I did respond back to your email.
We greatly value our guests and we go above and beyond to clearly communicate with our guests at all times. I wish you would have called me with your concerns during your stay as I am always available for all my guests 24 hours a day.
