Red Gates, a beautiful and newly restored 18th century building, originally built as the Coach House for the “Mains of Newhall”. Located in the middle of the countryside, the property has been in the same family for 200 years. We are conveniently located on the NC500 Route, perfect for those embarking on a Highland tour. Whether you are interested in visiting whisky distilleries, playing golf, walking, or dolphin-watching, Red Gates is located a mere 35 minutes' drive from Inverness.
Red Gates has been lovingly converted into a beautifully designed three-bedroom house, retaining its original features yet perfect for modern living.
Upstairs, each of the bedrooms has been tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard. There is one double ensuite bedroom, one twin-bedded bedroom, and a further double bedroom which can made up into twin beds.
The house opens onto the old walled garden of Newhall, where the owner's flock of Jacob Sheep now graze.

You will have sole access to the house. As we are in the countryside, there are lots of walking options. Please remember, as this is a working farm, to keep dogs on leads and close any gates after you.
