If you’re in abq, and you want a quick secluded get away in the middle of nowhere that’s a short drive away, this is the spot. There I less than an hour. Great views. Love the wood burning stove. Very secluded and comfortable.

Mo's place was fantastic! My husband and I took our old dogs on their first trip to New Mexico, and they LOVED every bit of the house and property. We were able to leave the front door open during the day, while we were there, so they could run in and out as they pleased. The first couple of nights, even though it was around 40° outside, the house stayed super toasty all night. On our last 2days/nights there, a cold front blew through, it would dip down to 30° around 3 or 4 in the morning, making the house a little chilly, but we were prepared with some super warm PJ's. (Mo also left a super warm comforter for us just in case.) My husband would wake up early every day to watch the sun rise, so he would fire up the wood burning stove whenever he got out of bed and the house would warm right up . The outhouse was fantastic too! Very clean and adorable. I know some folks mentioned noisy neighbors near by, but they weren't there until the morning we left...we wouldn't have even noticed them if it weren't for their dogs barking at us every now and then. For us, this trip was very quiet and secluded, we can't thank Mo enough for opening her place up to us. Every about this place is great! Oh, and people aren't kidding when they say take it sloooow down the dirt/rock road. We were in an old jeep 4x4 and it was still a bit rough, but we watched a civic do it, just take it slow.

This is a neat place and described by others just as it...lovely, charming, rustic, (URL HIDDEN) all those things. I didn't meet Mo, but he sent me a welcome text before I arrived and was super quick to answer any questions I during my stay. Something that meant a lot to me was the fenced area for my dog...which is huge! It was so nice to let her go in and out, not having to worry about her running off or chasing something. Made it extra relaxing to not worry about what the dog was up to. Really great stay.

We greatly enjoyed our time at Mo's place! It's perfect if you want to get away and live slightly off the grid, but still want some basic modern amenities. The home was really cozy and comfortable, with pretty views and a secluded feel without being too far from town. It was slightly chilly at night but the woodburning stove provided more than enough heat. Check on the firewood supply before you get there in case it's low or the wood is damp. Also: this is more of a user error thing, but we didn't realize until right before checking out that the kitchen sink had hot water! The temps are switched, so right is hot and left is cold. Oops! Otherwise our stay was wonderful, Mo was really responsive and left fool-proof instructions. Highly recommend!
