Kingfishers Retreat is a great base for exploring Norfolk, close to historic Norwich and within easy reach of the Norfolk Broads and beaches.
There is a half acre of beautiful shared organic garden fronting the river Tud which can be seen from the patio window. It is on one level, with parking directly outside. The single bed can be put in the lounge but this is a through room.
The property is approached from down a long drive with parking directly outside. It is very quiet and spacious being all on one level. The entrance is into a well equipped kitchen diner. The lounge is large and overlooks the main garden; it will easily accommodate the single bed, if required. In the bedroom there is both a king sized bed and a single bed. The bathroom has both a large shower and a separate bath, with a wall mounted fan heater. Heating is night storage radiators, with back up oil filled radiator and fan heaters. There is a private patio and full use of the owner’s garden. We have aimed to make Kingfishers Retreat somewhere we would like to go to our selves.

We live alongside Kingfishers Retreat and are happy to help any questions you may have during your stay.
No fishing. Guests are welcome to use the garden but to be aware of the river at the bottom.
We have lived in Honingham for over 20 years and have welcomed visitors to Kingfishers Retreat for over 10 years. Myself and my husband are both retired and I am an avid reader who enjoys knitting and baking as well as attending productions at the theatres in Norwich. Robert is a Master Gardener volunteer with Garden Organic and is on hand to offer advice about places to visit or walks in the locality. He is a keen bird watcher and the garden offers sightings of many different types of birds from kingfishers to red kites and is happy to share his knowledge. We are both members of the local Sports Park enjoying tennis, yoga and the gym.
