On our rooftop, with a great view of the surrounding mountains including our famous El Nido Taraw. Enjoy relaxing and hanging out up here on our rooftop full of plants under a beautiful oval shaped native roofing and its up here that we offer our Glamping experience which is using 5 separate 2-3 man Dome Tents featuring a comfortable bed base, bed linens and a rooftop shared bathroom.
The atmosphere and design is GREEN eco-friendly, with the use of organic products where possible.
The hostel is Smoke FREE, (meaning not allowed) as is Drugs, loud groups, parties and litter. Drinking Alcohol beverage is allowed but just 1 -
2 beers quietly not affecting others.
El Nido is growing so fast the town power is finding it challenging to support their electricity needs. Most hotels are providing noisy, fuel guzzling expensive generators. We prefer to use our quiet back-up solar power if possible.
The decor is soft with both light and dark hues of pink, brown and green, leaning on the feminine gentle side in tune with nature and the earth.
Our location offers lots of positives like being in close proximity to the market, the terminal, the beach, plus lots of motorbike rentals and just a P10 ride by trike to downtown.
The tiny down side is we are a near to the town power plant and its engine can be heard a touch too much in some rooms. To reduce this hum, our planting of more bamboo around the edges of our building is baffling this sound.

This hostel is a complete building for the hostel. Construction is ongoing upstairs.
The rooftop view-deck/terrace, hang out space, plus washing and basic cooking area will soon be available, if not already, (provided you don't mind sharing with our small construction team). Our on-site restaurant upstairs and bigger dorm rooms might take another few months.

If you need important information or help, feel free to call me at my island home. In my stead, especially if you have any issue in your room (like an electrical fault or plumbing fault), let Pie or Ann know immediately and they will do their best to accommodate you as quickly as possible.
FYI: I'm English born, arrived in El Nido, (one of the early pioneers) in 1986, long before El Nido had a road or hotel. I discovered Malapacao Island, moved there soon after and have remained tere these past 31 years.
Aside from my quality island time, I keep busy managing an organic farm, where I grow fruit and veggie, plus fish ponds on the mainland, as well as produce cultured mushrooms and raise animals, not to mention many dogs on the island. So if I have a choice, I rarely come to town.
On my profile you can read a little about my island life and more particularly why I have built this boutique designer hostel.
Pie and her housemaid helper can arrange your laundry needs as well as tour bookings, excursions etc, (additional charges).
El Nido Airport is 6 km from the property.
Airport shuttles and tricycles can be arranged (extra charge).
For rainy humid days when bugs are abound, or for visitors sensitive to them, we use natural repellants, herbs and plants.
We offer mosquito nets and this includes daily set up. Also, we often have citronella and lemongrass candles, essential oils and other mosquito deterrents as well as mosquito coils (extra charge).
Please just order these items from our front desk.
