Thanks so much for your review, however I have to say that your ratings on our communication and accuracy of our listing are out of line. I have to say honestly, that you did not do your homework on communications. You rated me with one star for communication because your cell provider doesn't work here? I told you it wouldn't work. My phone works just fine here. I also told you there is no WIFI and no TV signal because VIYA, our service provider has not yet replaced all their lines. Again, THE LISTING SAYS NO WIFI on the very 1st line. There is no cable listed either. So you rate me a 3 because you came and there was none? even though we told you that there wasn't?and the listing clearly states there is none? Also, I did never said we had a tub..nor did you ask if we did.. There is nowhere in the listing that says there is a tub. This is an island, and most places do not have tubs. We state in the listing that there is ONLY AC in the bedroom.. you knew that... so again, you rate our accuracy at a 3 because the entire condo doesn't have AC? Our description is VERY accurate. As far as the roosters go, they are EVERYWHERE on the island. Not just at our place. Finally, in the 4 years of doing Airbnb and the 200+ guests we have hosted, I was SHOCKED at the condition in which you left our condo. I have never walked into such a mess. Q-tips and TP in the shower floor, as well as a ton of sand..even though we have an outdoor shower and foot bath to rinse off in... so much sand EVERYWHERE, sticky drink spilled inside the freezer, old coffee grounds in the filter, furniture moved around and not returned to where it was when you arrived, grill cover off and just dropped on the deck, grease or something spilled all around the deck by the grill, drawers gone through and left a mess looking and searching through everything. Three sets of sheets used for a weeks stay. We have a washer for your use for towels, etc, so no need to leave out more than one bath and one beach towel per person. I have the Airbnb App on my phone..but I explained to you that service is still EXTREMELY spotty and I don't get messages in a timely manner because of WIFI, NOT Cell service. My cell works fine. Yours did not. You should have taken that into consideration before you came without a phone. Lastly, you were over 2 hours late because your plane was delayed in San Juan and you didn't even have the common courtesy to let us know, because your phones didn't work there either. We sat for almost 3 hours waiting for you to check in and didn't get home until almost midnight. Maybe Airbnb experience isn't for you.. as it seems you need to have a full time desk clerk to help solve problems... we go above and beyond to make sure all of our guests are happy, and you are right. Without a phone to communicate and ask questions, that is extremely hard. I had a phone.
