As little or as much much you like, I love the island of Hawaii and love sharing my knowledge, so if your'e looking for insider information, I'm a wealth of knowledge on the subject. I am happy to suggest my favorite restaurants, coffee shops, downtown nightlife, cool landmarks visit and Big Island adventures. I've worked in the tourism trade for nearly 17 years in Kona.
Please note I've included the price of GE tax and TA tax into the pricing please keep that in mind when price shopping that most airbandb host in Hawaii collect taxes once you arrive, due to a recent misunderstanding I've chosen to eliminate that part of the transaction just to stream line the experience and eliminate any misunderstandings.
This room has a shared bathroom, all though likely you'll be the only guest using it they're may be a time when another guest or myself has to also use it. This not the norm but I think it's important to mention it.

I'm a very proud single father, a world traveler, an archery instructor and above all I would call myself a fisherman. Although my days out at sea have greatly been reduced since my separation, I continue to find time to for my passion even if it's a chaotic schedule. I also work as a consultant in economic viability and sustainability in fisheries. I have been an on again-off again resident of Kona since 2000. In my earlier years I would only be here a few months a year as I worked on the Marlin and Billfish Circuit chasing these fish from destination to destination around the globe. However, no matter how far I get away from Kona, Hawaii, she's always calling me back to her. I love Kona and I love sharing it with other people. I have extensive knowledge about this area and I'm more than happy to help you with recommendations. If the timing lines up I might even take you. I love to snorkel, fish, dive, hike, practice yoga and run. I have my children two weeks on and two weeks off. So some visits you won't hear a peep and others you'll hear my beautiful children running around. If you're booking a room in my Main house that means the children are not in my custody so you don't have to worry about childhood noises, if that was a concern.
Honestly - I like people to feel like they are family when they are at my house. Help make this house feel like a home again.
