In response to your review...our listing identifies as a country home...(dirt-gravel roads and all, as well as the occasional mouse, deer, turkeys, rabbit, frogs, mosquitoes and even a snake are possible at times). We did and always will take appropriate measures to clean and rid the property of any and all uninvited guest that may pose a threat to our guests but it is a country home. Pictures in the listing show the window unit A/C in the room. Also, We have window treatments to block the light, if you would have mentioned that the light was bothersome it would have taken us less than 5 minutes to hang them(we removed them after a previous guest ask to take them down to better enjoy the view).
With respect to the dogs...the house rules you are required to agree to prior to booking the room state only small crated dogs allowed! Not only did you agree to those terms and not abide with them... when your "little, friendly dogs" greeted my 8 year old daughter she was left with multiple deep scratches all over her back, legs and stomach that came from your dogs jumping all over her knocking her down all while you watched and did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO STOP THEM OR GET THEM OFF OF HER!!! My son was also injured by them when he had to repeatedly get them off of her due to you refusing to calm them or do anything at all the keep them from hurting her. We love dogs and welcomed your over enthusiastic dogs even after the multiple attempts to calm them ourselves and keep them from jumping on us and leaving horrific scratches from their lack of grooming, training and exposure to other people. I'm sorry you had issues with your stay, but please read the listings completely and don't agree to rules and terms you don't feel you can comply with.
