À propos de ce logement
Welcome to La Terraza, my spacious 3 bedroom apartment in the historic district of Xela. With cozy rooms, a beautiful covered patio and a private rooftop terrace with 360 degree views of volcano Santa Maria, Cerro el Baul, and the city, there are lots of places to relax and enjoy your time here.
We are just a 5 minute walk from downtown with an abundance of cafes, bars and restaurants and just 3 blocks from the Flores Mercado where you can find fresh meats, fruits and vegetables.
The apartment is located on the second floor and accessed by a private entrance and a flight of stairs. You will be provided a set of keys so you can come and go as you please.
I keep the apartment spotless so my guests can enjoy their time here and feel pampered. Free wifi, french press coffee and filtered water are provided. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and cooking equipment. Guests are welcome to plug in the 'twinkle lights' and enjoy a glass of wine or nice evening meal on the patio with a little ambiance.
This bedroom is one of two rooms that I rent. The bed is very high quality, medium firm, and the room is cozy and has a lot of natural light. It is removed from the street so there is not a lot of street noise. On weekends, there can be some noise late at night as people enter and leave the parking lot that sides the apartment. If you are a light sleeper, we can provide earplugs to make your stay more comfortable.
The only rules here at La Terraza are to enjoy yourself and respect the peace and tranquility we try to create here. No parties, drugs, smoking, excessive noise. :)

It's a pleasure to share the following with my guests:
PRIVATE ROOF TOP TERRACE: the terrace has a 2-person swing, table, 2 lounge chairs, and a 360 degree view of the city, volcano and cerro el Baul.
COVERED PATIO: has a patio table, 4 patio chairs, a gas grill and utility sink.
LIVING ROOM: with two comfortable couches this is a great spot for lounging.
DINING ROOM: has a large table, great for eating or working. There is also a small table and computer chair for guests to use. With lots of light and a view of Xela's colorful city streets this is a favorite spot in the apartment.
KITCHEN: is large, clean and fully equipped with free filtered water and coffee.
WASH/DRY: there is a large utility sink on the patio and clothes lines on the terrace if you need/want to wash clothing by hand. Please note that the washing machine on the patio is not for guest use. However, I can recommend two very good laundry mats close to the apartment.
PARKING: We do not offer parking. However, during the day there is usually parking on the street and at night I can recommend several paid parking lots nearby.

I've lived in Xela for 3 years and am very happy to help with any questions during your stay. I can recommend lots of great restaurants, cafes, and day trips.
Because I work from home, I'm on-hand much of the time. However, I give my guests the space and level of interaction they desire. Guests also receive a set of keys so they can come and go as they please.
I'm here to help. Send me a message with any questions!
The upstairs terrace is not safe for children under 8 years old as there is no safety railing. We are happy to rent to families with children over 8 years old as long as parents are very careful to supervise children when they are on the terrace. :)
