Our neighbor will assist you if you have questions or instances which require assistance during your stay. We will include a comprehensive houseguide as well as suggestions for excursions in the area.
The estate is a farm, and the fields may during your stay be farmed. Timing of grasscutting and fertaliser is according to the weather and can not be decided in advance. Fertaliser gives out smell for a few days. Please respect the farmers and their work, and also the animals you meet on your way to the farm.
The gate to the estate must be closed at all times to keep the cows out.
We expect our guests to take good care of our house and furniture. We have put a lot of effort into making it a great place to be. We would love to share these experiences with considerate guests.
The Villa is on farmland and we require our guests to respect the nature and animals on - and around - the estate. Similarly, to respect the neighbor farmers, when they work on the farmland.
Given that the estate is farmland some guests might experience tractor noise in periods of gras cutting, following and a day or two with farmland smell in connection with fertilizing of the fields. This takes place twice every summer, exact time depending on the weather. The farmer will be considerate to guests, at the same time he is dependent on getting the work done.
I enjoy both citylife and countrylife - currently living on the norwegian countryside, sourrounded by steep mountains, fjords and glaciers, with my husband and four children.
I enjoy the company of old and new friends, there is always an "open door" to our home. Good cooking, good coffee, good talks... hiking, skiing, boatlife and exploring new places are amongst my favorits.
