'Abriachan' nestles in green fields overlooking Loch Alsh, with expansive views along the 'eagles lair' of Kylerhea and onward to the snow capped mountains of Skye. An excellent location to discover the Torridon mountain range and only 3 miles from the Skye bridge. A great place to take day trips from, Glenelg and it's "brochs". Take a ferry trip 'over the sea to Skye' and visit Plockton or Eilean Donan Castle close by.
Relax in a warm and cosy setting with all you require to make it a memorable stay. Good breakfasts both cooked or cold delicatessen. You will be able to see all kinds of birds and wildlife. Deer roam freely, (we try to keep them out the garden) but we get nightly visits from a pine marten and eagles are commonly seen.

We will be happy to suggest things to do / places to see in the area and have a good knowledge of local restaurants and take-a-ways.
Directions are: If coming towards Skye, you will reach Balmacara on A87, (Hotel and Spar shop on your right and the sea on your left), keep on going 500m and you will pass a cemetery (by the sea) on your left. The road continues up and slightly to the left. Take the very next road right, (signposted to Balmacara Square) and then the very next track left through the trees, (sign for 'Abriachan; B&B at bottom). First gear and we are at the top.

We enjoy meeting people and this property has been a 'self-catering' establishment since 2009. So the next logical step was to change to B & B.
We will be happy to have you stay with us at "Abriachan".
