Craigie Lea has been restored and and transformed to a fabulous home away from home.
The immediate property is 5 acres, room for a Heli landing zone, with access to local doc land to enjoy our lovely Native New Zealand Bush.
The property is approximately 1 hour from Carterton, if you are after an adventure with a slice of new Zealand history this is your ticket.
It is recommended that you stop off at the Gladstone Pub in Gladstone (URL HIDDEN) it's on the way, and recently published in the New Zealand top 100 Heritage Pubs to visit.
You will drive through some amazing country for about 40 minutes and come up against 10 minutes of gravel road to the Craigie Lea turn off and then have another 10 minutes to go to get to your destination; you can travel there is a 2 wheel drive ok.
You make like to explore to the Flat Point Coast line and additional 20mins, named by Captain Cook Sunday 11 Feb 1770 ((URL HIDDEN) where you will experience breath taking views of a still very untouched land, with access to the beach reachable on foot approx 50m from the Road.

The Craigie Lea Cottage property is now only 5 acres,with a soon to be a loving "Louie" garden area, good size paddock, a 12/4 meter swimming pool (under development for summer 2018).
As you arrive at your destination Cragie Lea Cottage is on your right, you go in through the farm gate, please ensure you close the gate and drive up the drive way where you will come across another gate to enter the property.

This is a stand alone venue.
However if you need assistance or would like catering needs met this can be quoted and arranged.
Tea, Coffee and some baking essentials are readily available, you will need to provide your own milk and other goodies.
There maybe other food there help your self if able a "Koha" is welcome.
Range time can be booked in at the Gladstone Pistol Club as requested.
It is recommended that you go out with at least half a tank of gas.
Be prepared to start your own fire; there is plenty of wood in the wood shed.
There is a TV and plenty of DVD's.
Board gamer's you will need to bring these with you, as these have not yet been acquired.
