I am always available via mail and phone but I sadly do not live there. I work with a lovely man called Suren who will handle things on site. He can arrange bike or scooter hire or arrange any tours if you want. Any problems with the house you can contact him directly and he will fix it or you can reach me. Never hesitate. We want you to enjoy your time there.
Like anywhere in Sri Lanka, be sensible with your personal belongings. There is a safe in the cabin for passport and stuff like that. Lock it up when you go out. The wifi works well. Make sure you ask Suren to show you how to get the hot water on. There is a nice outdoors shower which is nice to refresh through the day. Make sure you have mosquito spray. Sri Lankan climate is heaven for mosquitos.
- No smoking in the house
- Be kind to the environment and keep the beach clean and garden clean
- If you smoke in the garden, please clean up all of the cigarette buts
Hi, I am a mother of 3 and have been married to my husband for 15 years plus. We love to travel and to be outdoors. I am happy to travel rough and stay in remote places. My husband is the opposite. Our kids are happy to travel with us when school permits. My husband is a keen surfer, I like to try and I catch a few waves and then I am happy to tan and read my book. We actually stayed in this cabin several times and then had the chance to buy it which is great. I am passionate about sport and gave up my office job and became a freelance fitness instructor for RPM, TRX and yoga. I love to climb and recently went to the summit of Elbrus in Russia. My husband is French, Breton actually, and we go there every summer for a dose of cold sea water, good surf and amazing food. I speak fluent french. I also try to visit Ethiopia at least once a year as our sone was adopted from there and I like to maintain contact with the handicapped children who are in the orphanage. I am a firm believer that we can all do small things with great love and it will make the world a better place. I recently became vegan and it was the best food choice I ever made. Be kind to yourself and to others and life will be good to you.
