"Fantastic place to stay in Wengen! (5 out of 5 stars): We were expecting an amazing unit based on the pictures online and we were extremely happy that it indeed delivers. The unit is fantastic! Beautifully put together, with modern amenities (Nespresso with the milk frother is amazing), fantastic bed and shower. Not to mention an amazing view and great location near the centre of Wengen. Certainly a place we want to come back to. Perfect for couples looking for peace and quiet and easy access to the valley. Rachel has done a superb job. She is caring not only of the unit but of her guests by always being willing and available to help with questions about local options. A real gem in Wengen. Thank you!

"Absolutely Stunning Property! (5 out of 5 stars): I was so impressed with this apartament. It was advertised as being 5 star and it certainly was! The apartment is modern with a contemporary design and all the furnishings and fittings are of 5 star quality. It was the small details that I was most impressed with and was more in keeping with a 5 Star Hotel - the Straightening irons, bubble bath, candles etc etc. The apartment is light, airy and spacious and just a minutes walk from the centre of Wengen and right on the slopes. I cannot recommend this property enough - I went away just for a few days skiing and was so impressed that I have already booked the same property again!! Excellent and Stunning!

"Un vrai coup de coeur! (5 out of 5 stars): Tout était parfait dans ce séjour! (sauf peut-être la météo...) : appartement très confortable, luxueusement équipé avec goût, très bien situé par rapport au village. De l'appartement une vue superbe sur les montagnes. Le site de Wengen est magnifique, et l'absence de voitures un vrai repos! Nous partons avec la ferme intention de revenir!

"“Spectacular trip” (5 out of 5 stars) Reviewed August 12, 2016 for a stay in August 2016: The apartment was great with a spectacular view of the Mts with their gravity defying glaciers. Kitchen was well equipped. The location was quiet and central to the endless hiking trails we enjoyed for the week. Rachel was a very helpful rental agent for all our local planning needs including eating/travel/train/hiking. Thank you!"
"“Beautiful cosy home in fantastic location with View of Jungfrau” (5 out of 5 stars) Reviewed June 26, 2016 for a stay in June 2016: Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - great facilities in the unit and Rachel was only a phone call away. It was close to trains, shops, cafes, restaurants, supermarket and so many walking trails to choose from. Will stay there again when we next visit Wengen. Great job, Rachel!!"
"“A phenomenal place to stay, a jewel in the mountains” (5 out of 5 stars) Reviewed October 3, 2015 for a stay in September 2015: We stayed in the Padley apartment at Les Residences Waldbort and it was perfect. It was spotlessly clean, all beautiful finishes and amenities, lovely plush bath robes and a stunning view of the mountains from the sofa and the (URL HIDDEN) kitchen had everything you could even imagine needing including a fondue pot. You can sit on the sofa, watch the flat screen tv, start the wood burning fireplace and watch the mountains all at the same time!! It was so wonderful we didn't want to leave and extended our stay.
Wengen was stunning, I am so glad we stayed here and the short cog train ride up and down was no trouble. Rachel the property manager is a delight to deal with and check in and out was simple and easy. I strongly recommend staying here and we plan to make it an annual trip."
"“What a great find - fantastic accommodation” (5 out of 5 stars) Reviewed December 1, 2014 for a stay in September 2014: My husband and self stayed in Les Residence Waldbort for 5 nights in September in the pretty little village of Wengen in the Swiss Alps. This was an apartment in a larger chalet, and we booked through Alpine Holiday Services and dealt with Rachel (who actually owned the apartment). Our questions and e-mails were dealt with promptly and efficiently. I can't say it wasn't expensive, we sort of treated ourselves though, but having said that, everything - and I mean everything - is expensive in Switzerland, and it was certainly worth what we paid.
The apartment had a beautifully styled kitchen with all mod cons, a lovely big bathroom, again done in a very tasteful way. There was a great lounge area incorporating the large dining area with large table, and then a bedroom going off this room. The apartment was beautifully furnished to a high standard and had everything and more you could want in a holiday apartment. (Indeed, we often talked how we could have lived there!). Off the lounge room was a small patio area with seating, and views of the Jungfrau.
The bed was divine, and the linen was top quality. The seating in the lounge was superb to relax on after a hard walking day, and there was a large TV, DVD etc etc. Nothing was missing at this place. The kitchen was well equipped with anything you could name, and indeed we did use the microwave to heat up our ready meals from the Co-op store if we didn't feel like going "down the hill and back up again" after our day out. It also had a small fire which we didn't need to use, but would be great in winter.
The location was also good, not very far from the pretty village of Wengen, but we are seniors (albeit very fit) and the hill from the village to the apartment is quite steep, so you do tend to limit the number of times you went up and down. We were always catching trains and the station was in the village, so you do have to "conquer" the hill a bit. No great problem, and most accommodation in Wengen entails a bit of a climb. There were other apartments in the chalet, but it was very quiet there, and we barely heard anyone else. Oh, there is also an owners laundry which you can use consisting of washer and dryer. Only thing that would have been a bonus would have been a small sort of clothes line out on the patio, as we don't like dryers.
We just loved Wengen. the views, the village and staying in such a wonderful place just topped it off. Full marks to Rachel and many thanks (a bit belated now, but been busy). You can not go wrong staying here, and if you can afford it, just do it. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. This was the perfect start for our European trip, but it did spoil us,staying in some ordinary hotel rooms after that!"
