The Cabin was built in 1968 but has been extensively modernised in the last couple of years. Its very comfortable in both summer and winter with central heating and a log burner. The Cabin is a tranquil place set in woods but within easy distance of The Village. The light is fabulous, the Garden beautiful in any season with different plants and animals easy to spot. The cabin can sleep 10 with kids but 8 is a comfortable number for adults. The ski slopes are just 20 mins drive away.
Were afraid we can not accept more than 10 people staying in The Cabin because we want to keep it clean, well maintained and enjoyable for future guests.
Accès des voyageurs
Guests have access to the whole house and there is plenty of space to eat and relax
The water comes from a private source off the hill. It can sometimes look dirty but we put it through two filters so it is safe to drink. If you prefer not to drink it water can be purchased from the shop in the village.
Only two dogs can stay at any one time and they are not allowed in the bedrooms or on the furniture at any time. Please do not leave them unattended in the Cabin. Please pick up your cigarette butts from outside if you happen to drop them. Please be very careful with open flames - its a wooden house - never leave open flames unattended and always keep the stove door shut at night or if you have left the house for a walk. Never leave the stove burning if you have vacated the house and make sure you dampen any sparks before disposing of fire debris on your departure.
Please check the arrival information regarding the water filters (they must be on throughout your visit) and turn down heating as per the instructions on your departure. We are also a rural house so we don't want little fury friends so please get rid of the bins in the public bins just down from The Log Cabin Hotel. Thank you.
Although we live 60 miles away we have a great team in the Glen ready to help and we are only a phone call away. We have given all our recommendation in the Touch Stay page and we'd love to hear yours too
