A comfortable apartment with fully equipped open kitchen (washing machine, dish washer, refrigerator, induction stove) and dining space/living room, a very big bath room and a bedroom with double bed located in the famous and lively Ratinger street in the middle of the old town. A good place to stay if you are in Düsseldorf for business or holiday.
The apartment is located on the Ratinger street which is one of the oldest streets of Düsseldorf right in the centre of the city. Its history is dating back until the 14th century. Many of the various bars and taverns are meeting point for the teachers and students of the famous nearby Düsseldorf art academy and make it one of Düsseldorf’s first-rate amusement strips both for locals, business guests and tourists. Locals only call it “de Retematäng” which name is supposed to go back to a remark of Napoleon who was surprised to find more than 20 taverns opened in the morning when visiting the city in 1811 and allegedly said “Rue du Matin”. The Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen K20 Grabbeplatz, one of the leading museums of art of the 20th century, is right around the corner as is the famous Düsseldorf academy of arts and other museums. The river Rhine is only 200 m and the Hofgarten with the nice Goethe museum is only 400 m away .
