Art lovers will appreciate this home decorated with collector’s pieces from Greece and around the world, which is located in “a quiet village within the buzzing city,” at the feet of the famed Philipappou Hill, right next to the sacred rock of Acropolis.

Le logement

This 1st floor apartment in a 2-storied building was entirely renovated in early 2017 and decorated with love and respect to its architectural style of the late 50s. It is spacious and filled with light, overlooking a beautiful Greek Orthodox church. With all modern amenities and yet so faithful to its original, half a century old, character, this apartment is a gem of good old Athens.

Our family stayed at Elias place for two nights and got exactly that hospitality and coziness what you could expect while going and being in Greece. Moreover, we have chosen this place because of its very special aura and being there really enjoyed it. We traveled with 3 children (10, 8 and 1 year old), and although while looking where to stay, we saw many places with such a restrictions that "no children under 2 years", here we where warmly welcome. This was our first experience at Airbnb, and what can I say - everything was just perfect: very quick communication, supportive attitude (we arrived at 4 am), beautiful place, good location, very special memories.

Dear Iveta Since the day you left I feel that the house was blessed by your wonderful family. Your beautiful children have left a positive energy for which I am grateful. Keep well and be happy. Elias and Martin

We had a great time in Athens and loved this apartment. There was a lot of interesting art, it was spacious and clean. Location was perfect to explore the city. It was not in touristic area but in a lovely neighborhood with plenty of shops, restaurants and entrance to public transport. Communication with Elias was smooth. We would certainly recommend this place!

Elias's place was great - very roomy apartment in a quiet location of Athens. A block away there was a grocery store where you could find everything you need. Amazing hospitality - Elias was so kind to get me bus tickets before I arrived! One negative, was that it is located right next to a beautiful Greek church and the bells would go off at various times in the morning (Sun was a bit early at 6am). We were able to fall back asleep but just something to be aware of.

Thank you Maria for being a perfect guest. I asked the priest to explain to me why he rings the bells so early in the morning and he said this is the way to tell the neighbours that mass starts soon. I suggested emailing them next time but he gave me a w-t-f look...

Citizen of the world, global traveler, social geek, story teller. All in all a great guy to be with and have a beer or talk politics, art and culture, the state of the world we live in, etc. I love knowing new people and making new friends. I also love animals. Especially my weird dog, Baloo. And I love my city! Ask me and you get me as a bonus guide!
