LaLa's place is a cozy, comfortable cottage, out in the quiet countryside of Blount County /Maryville TN.
Ideal for bikers, couples, families, solo adventures, hikers, kayakers and pet lovers who wish to travel with their SMALL dog(s). All are welcome.
Off rte 129, near the Dragon & Tellico Lake, in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains; over the 100 year old bridge, on Nine Mile Creek, on a dead end road on over 6 acres; surrounded by open pastures.
Aprox 5 miles to town.
LaLa's place is totally your own, a newly remodeled 700+ sq ft cottage with French doors that enter into an open floor plan, fully functional Kitchen/ livingroom area. The Kitchen is complete with an island with stools, butcher block table/desk, stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, Livingroom has a TV/ DVD player & limited DVDs ( bring your own or Red Box is close by) & a twin day bed and a twin size red leather couch providing comfort and additional sleeping. The Master bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed. The bathroom is accessible from the master bedroom and the living kitchen area; it has a walk in shower and washer/dryer for your use. The cottage has AC and electric baseboard heat. The Side door opens out onto carport/ porch with table & chairs and a charcoal grill. Also a fire pit and seating are avialible for your use on the grounds over looking our little meadow. You are welcome to walk the entire property (over 6 acres) and 1/4 mile up the very private road.

LaLa's Place is your own private cottage which is conveniently located in all directions, up 129 to Tellico Lake, Abrams Creek Campground, Foothills Parkway, Harley Davidson ,The Dragon (11 miles 318 hairpin turns!), Antique shops, Townsend tubing, zip lining and the entrance to the quiet side of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Cade's Cove area. In the other direction you can easily access the Foothills Mall, Multiplex movie Theater, grocery stores, The Shed, The City of Maryville, McGee Tyson Airport, University of Tennessee (UT) , Knoxville. Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, Gatlinburg area aprox an hours drive away.

LaLa (Lynn) and her husband Paul live here on the property, in the main house. We will be here to welcome you upon arrival.
And we will be readily available to assist with any questions or needs at all times, just call, text or hollar! Know we will respect your personal needs during your stay, wether you are seeking complete privacy or more interaction. Lynn is a hiker and a kayaker and Paul is an avid Biker we enjoy sharing our knowledge and stories about the many adventures of 'The Quiet Side of the Smokies' and we would be more than happy to recommend our favorite restaurants, places to see, things to do! We look forward to meeting you.
Airbnb doesn't collect the 9.75% sales tax & the 5% occupancy tax, so that will be due upon arrival.
An envelope with the exact amount due will be with your key by the entry way.

When making a reservation (if a child is apart of your party) only include the number of adults in your party

- 1)- Absolutely no smoking/vaping inside the cottage.
Not adhering to this request is reason enough to be asked to leave the premises.
Smoking/vaping permitted outside at designated area only.
- 2)- In order to book with us you must be 21 years or older with a recognizable picture of yourself.
- 3)- No large or loud parties or events.
Additional day guests, other then those registered must be approved by the host.
- 4)- Well behaved small pets allowed, with a two pet maximum.
Other situations will be taken under consideration, notify us prior to booking.
We recommend bringing a pet lead as there are no fences.
- 5)- Camp fires are allowed in fire pit only. Local laws prohibit bringing in firewood into or out of Blount County, local firewood to be used only.
-6)- No candles, incense, fireworks of any kind allowed.
