This was the first airbnb (or hotel/B&B for that matter) that I have ever had to leave before my reservation was complete. We stayed for 2/7 day reservation. I had brought up concerns with the host team that had not been resolved during those days despite informing them of the issues the first night we checked in. I eventually had to contact airbnb directly. - Over two days, we killed 5 bees that were alive and in the apartment on 5 separate occassions. I reported the first bee, and subsequent bees to the host each time we saw one. There was no plan for pest control to visit the apartment until what would have been the third day of the reservation. - The shower drain did not work. A housekeeper was sent over but did not have the screw driver necessary to access the drain, and simply poured some drain cleaner down the drain. This did not resolve the problem. I was instructed to buy drain cleaner myself and give additional treatments. There was no physical unclogging of the drain done. - There was no lighting outside the apartment complex or in the shared hallways of the building. The staircase leading to the door of the apartment is pitch black at night. A phone or hand light is required to walk through the hallways and unlock the door. I was told the apartment manager would be informed and fix this, but it was still pitch black when I checked out (third night). If these had not been issues, the apartment itself would have been very lovely and comfortable. The apartment was recently renovated; bed was comfortable; quiet and very residential neighborhood; nice towels. Easy access to public transportation (although for those unfamiliar to London as I am, not walking distance to central London). The management company that handles this property, while quick to respond, did not seem very familiar with the property itself. If you have a car, street parking is free and easily available on the weekends. During work week hours, though, street parking is permit only; or, you can pay by text for street parking up to 4 hours. I am sure that after the above issues are addressed, the property will be a very nice airbnb. Unfortunately, for me, the entire process was very time consuming and stressful on what should be vacation time.

We are very glad that you liked the apartment itself and the quiet neighbourhood. We are sorry we didn’t handle things perfect for reasons beyond our control. We did book pest control, but it was not possible for them to attend immediately. For the benefit of future guests - the bees' nest has now been removed from outside the building and there are no bees on the property or outside. We also complained to the management company for not addressing our request to fix the lights in the hallway immediately after our report. We also booked a plumber and he changed the drain cover, as it was impossible for the cleaner to fix it herself. Now everything is fine with the apartment, which as you say is newly refurbished and is looking forward to welcoming its next guests. Had a lovely stay. The apartment is gorgeous, super cosy, clean and homely, with lovely little extra touches. About 5 minutes walk from the station. There's Netflix & Amazon TV, a pretty quiet street, and a well-stocked kitchen. What more could you ask for! Supermarkets are a little on the sparse side - Spa and a Tesco about 10 mins walk away - but Brockwell Park is 10 mins drive and is gorgeous. Highly recommend this place.

Handy for buses to city 159 and 59 and Oval station not too far Kennington Park is beautiful, just a few minutes away. Nice flat Good location

The flat is spacious and clean. Everything looks the picture. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. It is quite a walk from the nearest tube station but without heavy luggage it's a a pleasant one. Early check-in and check-out is available upon request which is much appreciated. Pro-tip: try to ask questions about the flat during the check-in process so you know your way around little things like how to turn on the heater or how to use the washing machine.

William was a fantastic host and was kind enough to accommodate an early check in for us. The flat was very spacious, clean, and steps from the tube. We would certainly stay with William next time we are in London!

The apartment was clean and in a great location only a 5 min walk to the station very easy to get around. Nice quiet location. With the nicest little coffee shop around the corner. Will and team were extreamly accommodating... Big thanks guys will definitely stay again when I'm back.
