Sally's B&B is lovely. The house itself is set back from the road, which is in a dip and wasn't really visible from the bedroom.
The decor is that of a traditional B&B. Our bedroom was on the first floor and really pleasant, with gabled window overlooking a beautiful view of fields and hills, it had a nice thick carpet and a very comfortable bed affording a great night's sleep.
The property is spotless throughout. The bathroom also immaculately clean. Shower a bit on the weak side power-wise (electric). There was central heating on, for which we were grateful as it had been raining all day before our arrival, and in just a few minutes the room was cosy and warm. There is a thermostatic valve on radiator which can be turned down or off if heating is not needed. Breakfast room was lovely, again with that gorgeous view. Breakfast was really good, with selection of cereals, jams, hot drinks, fruit, honey and croissants. I was impressed that the muesli was the unsweetened variety. The cooked breakfast was really nice too, all cooked perfectly and very hot.
The room and setting was so delightful we didn't want to leave. Sally is very warm and welcoming hostess and we didn't have any problems during our one night stay. We would be happy to return and have a longer stay there and would recommend this B&B.
