Tucked away down a private driveway and nestled into the landscape above the Gannel Estuary, The Polehouse has beautiful river and countryside views. The house faces south and is protected from prevailing northerly winds making it the perfect place for a holiday home. The lush garden, surrounding trees and birdsong make it feel like you are staying in a luxury treehouse.
The house is in a tranquil setting away from the summer crowds but Newquay town centre is only 20 mins walk away.

Le logement

We are offering weekly rentals which will run from Saturday to Saturday.

The Polehouse is two storey with the main living space on the first floor. When you arrive the main entrance is on this first floor.

First floor
-Open plan living space with oak flooring throughout and bi-fold doors onto the upstairs decking area which overlooks the garden below and has far reaching countryside and river estuary views.
-Kitchen with vaulted ceiling and skylights
-Dining area with a table which will easily seat 8
-Glazed corridor leads through to the lounge area which also has exposed rafters and velux windows and a huge picture window
-Bathroom with a shower over bath
-large bedroom with King size bed and views of the river

Ground Floor
-Bunk room with a pull out foam sofa bed
-Double bedroom with ensuite with walk-in shower. French doors open onto hardwood decking and the garden.
-WC
-Washing machine and utility area under the stairs
-Hallway with french doors leading to garden and a full double sofa bed.

Accès des voyageurs

Guests will be renting our entire home and garden but we will leave one room locked for our personal storage.

Autres remarques

There is space for 2 cars on our driveway although turning space is limited and it may be necessary to reverse your car the length of the shared access drive which is 70m. Alternatively there is parking on the street at the top of the driveway and you can leave your car here and walk down.

The Polehouse is a lovely, well equipped family home on the estuary. Plenty of living space, garden with trampoline and great BBQ area. Walking distance to Crantock beach along the estuary and a short drive to shops, pub etc. Very chilled spot to explore Cornwall from. Hope to revisit next year.

The Polehouse was extremely stunning and good value for money! The views breath taking, good area close to all amenities and Helen welcomed us with fresh flowers, scones and cream!!! We enjoyed a fabulous week in this wonderful house.

The house is fun and stylish as well as comfortable and practical. A combination of the view, the garden, the layout and the the decor and furnishings makes it feel like a special place, and ideal holiday home.

A fabulous house with stunning views of the Gannel Estuary - house and garden great for both kids and adults alike, smart tech, great farm shop 'trevillley farm' 5 mins drive away, loved the outside BBQ seating area, completely in nature and yet 20 mins walk / 5 mins drive from Fistral Beach - we didn't want to leave and we'll definitely be back!

We had a very warm welcome and felt like at home from the beginning. The tipps Jo gave to us, were very useful, We had a great family time while crabbing, surfing, walking, swimming... Thank you a lot for this special week.
