The Old Coach House, Witney, is a beautiful Cotswold stone property hidden away in a quiet private lane yet just a 10 minute stroll from the High Street shops, restaurants and cafe's.
This large, quirky property is laid out to make best use of the old Coach House layout and retains many original feature walls and beams.
Accès des voyageurs
Guests will have sole access to the entire house. On the ground floor: you enter into a lovely country kitchen via a stable door. The kitchen is open plan to the dining area. From the dining area there is a small set of steps up to a huge lounge and both rooms have direct access to the patio and enclosed garden.
There are 3 bedrooms on the first floor, with a few steps up and down to each room (see floor plan in photos).
The Master suite has a king-size bed, sitting area and a Juliette balcony with a lovely garden view. Plus a large walk-in wardrobe/dressing room and en-suite. For their safety - please ensure children are supervised at all times near the balcony or the balcony doors are kept locked.
Along the hall there is a large family bathroom with shower over the bath.
Bedroom 2 is a double.
Bedroom 3 has twin beds or can be converted to a king-size at your request.
Bedroom 4 is a double with en-suite. Please note this is back down a second set of stairs and therefore may not be suitable for children depending on their ages as it is away from the rest of the bedrooms and the living space. Bedroom 4 can also be accessed from outside (the small door on the right hand side of the cover photo) without the need to use any stairs at all.
Please see the floor plan in the photos section.
The Coach House has beautiful high ceilings throughout the property, but there are a couple of points where structural beams are lower and you may need to mind you head! This is on entry and exit to the master bedroom (just over the steps), the stairs to bedroom 4 and (if you are over 6ft) the beam in the kitchen.
Well behaved pets are welcome on request and at a charge of £15 per pet per stay. Please keep pets downstairs.
House should be left as you found it and rubbish put in the outside bind as per the instructions in the house. Any additional cleaning charges due to pets, excessive mess or left rubbish may be charged.
