Association can be very strict when it comes to parking, please utilize the garage or carport stall for vehicles, parking on the private access road or driveway is prohibited. Please follow posted parking signs.
My name is Alan and I am the owner of Moku House. Ezra is my best friend and will be co-hosting with me when I am away traveling.
Moku house was recently built and purchased in December of 2016. All construction details were customized for our family, and my daughters and I absolutely love the home when we are there on school breaks and summer holiday. When we aren’t there, we are typically on island at our other home in Honolulu. It is our hope this document and video created helps you with settling in, and communicates anything we may have missed.
1.1. Our address is 91-1063 Meleikekai St. Ewa Beach, HI (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). Because we live in a brand new community, GPS may not be able to locate the home and nothing will show up on satellite imaging. Easiest directions from the airport:
•a.H1 Westbound (Waianae Direction) ~10 miles
•b.Exit on Kunia Southbound (Ewa Beach) ~4 miles
•c.Right on Papipi Road (Landmarks are McDonalds, Texaco and 711)
•d.Right on Meileikekai St. (last right turn just prior to the beach)
•e.Right on Kai Weke St.
•f.Right into the first private driveway. Leave your vehicle fronting the garage and enter the rear of the house through the side door left of the garage
•3. Walk along side the garage into backyard towards the rear door. You will see a black lockbox on the door handle.
•4.Passcode is “4444.” House key is inside. This key will open all doors.
•5.Walk into the kitchen and look for the garage door opener on the counter.
•6.Return to the garage and open the garage door and pull your car in immediately.
•7.Parking is strictly prohibited on all streets alongside the house. With the exception of when you first arrive, please do not park on the street even if it’s for a short period. Street signs prohibit parking and you may receive a ticket and/or get towed as a result.
•8.Please utilize both stalls inside the garage and third stall carport if you need it. Neighbors become alarmed if you leave the garage door open, so please have the garage door closed at all times as well.
•9.Please remove your shoes before going inside.
•10.Help yourself to any of the goodies we left in the kitchen and bathrooms containing snacks, cleaning supplies, shampoo, soaps, and other amenities. Do not feel obligated to replace anything you use.
•11.If you can tell, I also love to drink. Please help yourself to anything at the bar and feel free to finish off anything that its near its end. You are welcome to gift us any new bottles at the end of your visit. Whisky and red wine are favorites
•12. The fridge will have several levels emptied for your use. Help yourself to any condiments or beverages. I don’t drink beer but have a lot of it, so please feel free to finish those off
•13.The pantry also has a level cleared for your use.
•14. Please help yourself to any of the dishware, although we also have disposable utentils if that is easier.
•15. Button for garbage disposal is below the sink.
•16. Cleaning supplies have been left if there are any spills. Please notify myself or Ezra if there are any severe stains or damages. I have two small children and a dog, so we have seen it all! Do not worry about communicating any incidents with me.
•17.Rooms that are off limits include the guesthouse outside, room connected to the garage, as well as my daughters room that is upstairs between the master and the bathroom. Please do not go into their rooms or sleep on their beds (you will know its their room as they have the matching twin beds upstairs).
•18.If you take a bath in the master, please be sure to wipe up any water that overflows alongside the rim and the wall. Water that remains here can be damaging.
•19.We have left clean linens on all of the beds and brown towels for your use. If you need extra bedding, the upstairs blue futon as well as the sofa converts to sleepers.
•20.Feel free to keep the a/c on running at all times, even when you leave the home.
•21.Our trash bins are located alongside the garage and can be taken out through a small side door. Please take out the black trash bin on Tuesday evening for Wed. morning. Recyclables, blue bin. Yard waste, green bin.
•22.If you are able to water the two herb planters morning and night, that would be great. There also some yellow flowers in the garden that need water. Thank you.
•23. No loud noises outside of house after 9pm. As consideration to our neighbors, please use the inside of the home.
