Our home is traditional in décor, with lots of light, tons of books, and cozy spaces throughout. We're situated on a lovely acre of land, surrounded on 2 sides by conservation land - no houses, just horses allowed. The patio out back is our favorite place for morning coffee, and the backyard is great for tossing a football or enjoying a cookout.
The house has been used for small group retreats, and works well for that use.
Accès des voyageurs
The whole house is available, except for our master bedroom and bath, which are private and kept locked.
We can also rent ONE OR TWO ROOMS, EACH WITH ATTACHED BATH to our guests. The price for one night 89.00 plus a 25.00 cleaning fee. Weekly rates can be arranged. Check with me for availability.
Échanges avec les voyageurs
We will always be available by phone or text. If we're overseas, we will have someone close by who can respond to their questions.
Safety: the house has plenty of smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detector, and a fire extinguisher in the kitchen.
- We prefer to rent to families
- We prefer no shoes in the house - there's a basket of slippers for you to choose from.
I'm 64 years old, married for 42 of those years to my wonderful husband, Doug. We have raised 3 children, and are also the happy grandparents of 4 little people. With two of our children living in England, that's presently our favorite travel destination; we also love Asia. Hospitality is a big part of our lives, so our home has plenty of light, cozy spaces for reading or taking a nap, and a big back yard. Our Christian faith is important to us, and we try to serve our neighbors by creating space for "civil conversations for the common good.
