The room has a built in wardrobe with plenty of space for hanging clothes and storing luggage. The bathroom with a shower over the bath is just outside the bedroom. Continental breakfast is eaten in a light conservatory facing the enclosed garden.
The house is set in a quiet cul de sac, a few minutes walk from Asda supermarket and Fort Kinnaird shopping centre. There are many buses into town just round the corner from the house. The journey takes 20 minutes. Portobello beach and Arthur's Seat are 5 minutes by car, 10 minutes by bus.

I have been practicing and teaching Shiatsu internationally for over 30 years. I am a Buddhist and in a gay relationship. I live in Edinburgh with my son and daughter who come and go now they are in their 20s. I am originally from London and my children were brought up in the Highlands of Scotland. So if you want to go further North we know all the gems to visit.
We're a friendly family and enjoy meeting people from all over the world and we like travelling too. My favourite places to visit are Nepal, the Greek Islands and Cornwall.
I practice Shiatsu at home so if you would like a treatment to help you relax and to rejuvenate let me know when you book
I love to go to the beach at Portobello for a walk and visit the local cafes. It's 5 minutes by car or 10 by bus. We've lived in Edinburgh 3 years and find it very friendly with great transport and many historical places to visit. There are many buses into town just around the corner from my house. It takes 20 minutes.
Over the years we have had several art students and tennis coaches staying here. I regularly play and we are all keen tennis fans especially of Andy Murray. I love having students staying who are involved in the arts and one of them has painted my children.
We have a relaxed atmosphere at home and would make you very welcome.
