It's bright, it's airy, it's clean, it has a closet and your own bathroom, it's an urban garden retreat. Look out the window and you see endless birds n' squirrels above the garden. Outside your private 3rd floor room is a huge living room with two dining tables, a couch, and enough room to dance around or share a meal with a dozen friends and travelers. Walk up two flights of stairs to the garden patio for a breathtaking view of Brooklyn, especially during these long summer sunsets.
A 4 story walk up townhouse with edible garden and rooftop orchard, we want to call it Home Forest. We are learning urban farming as we go and we hope to share the experience with travelers from all over. One day, Home Forest will expand into the real forests out there.
Tired of sharing a bathroom with a billion people? Here, you will either have your own private bathroom or share one with one other room.
The house is wired with security cameras in the living rooms and entrances. We also just installed a brand new sprinkler system. Fire extinguishers are above the fridge in case of kitchen mishaps.
Speaking of the kitchen, the only small downside of this place is that the kitchen is not huge. We respectfully ask that you allow the hosts to make their daily meals with ease.

Once you have completed your reservation, you will be given 2 four digit codes, one for the front door and one for the 3rd floor door.
Your will be given a pair of keys for the deadbolt on your room door. This is the only set of key that you have to keep track of. The doors don't close without the key so you will never lock yourself out or worry that you might have forgotten to lock the room.
Every bathroom comes with a hair dryer, a bottle of Doctor Bronner's Magic Soap for body and hair as well as a first aid kit.
For a small fee you can use the laundry room.

The host and home owners live on the 5th floor (roof). We are a writer/filmmaker and a designer who have enjoyed traveling the world. We love to meet and host people from every culture to share gardening, culinary, among other secrets...
Please help me keep a positive environment. Use the compost box to help me feed the earthworms. Sort recycling into their appropriate boxes to minimize trash going to the landfill. Most of all, keep the space clean so that everyone can feel comfortable.
- Quiet time after 11pm
- Clean up after using anything in the kitchen
- Smoking allowed only on the roof patio (via public stairwell)
