This is a beautiful traditional cottage with modern facilities situated in the heart of Perthshire.
You will enjoy the private use of a bedroom and bathroom which are located in a modern extension at the back of the cottage. Within easy access are a host of incredible places to visit including many top visitor attractions. Walkers, climbers, cyclists, golfers, fishers, those interested in exploring and those who just want to "chill" will be well catered for and made most welcome.
Glenkilrie Cottage has rural charm and privacy and yet is very centrally located. In summer enjoy the sun trap patio in the evening, in winter enjoy the cosiness of the wood burning stove. Rural walks, history, magnificent golf courses, historic buildings, rivers to fish, lanes to cycle... so much to do. A great base for events such as the Scottish Game Fair, Rewind Festival Perth, Perth Festival of the Arts, various Highland Games, the Enchanted Forest experience, and the British Open when it comes to St Andrews.

Happy to socialise and give you ideas for things to do. I am a keen hillwalker with an interest in history and folklore. I have a Hill and Moorland Leader award and so can guide people on walks into the hills.
Easy going and friendly my hobbies include hillwalking, golf, indoor climbing, and fishing. I lead and assess Duke of Edinburgh Award expeditions and have a qualification to lead groups of all ages into the hills. I enjoy photography and with my keen interest in history too, I have lots of ways I can help you enjoy your stay in this beautiful part of Scotland.
I enjoy spicy cuisine - particularly Thai, Indian and Jamaican food.
Favourite destinations so far - Antigua, Dubrovnik and Barcelona though my visits to Poland, Germany, Madeira, and the Algarve were memorable too.
But Scotland's wild places are difficult to beat!
