Come and stay for a unique holiday in the Peak District for walkers, cyclists.bikers or para-gliders pilots This cottage is situated in the small hamlet of Walkers Barn located on the road to the Cat and Fiddle public house which is the second highest pub in the UK. Walkers Barn falls on the intersection of local walks and is only a 5 minute walk from Teggs Nose Country Park with splendid views over the Cheshire Plain overlooking the town of Macclesfield, Langley Village and reservoirs.
The property is converted from a brewery hall that was part of the Setter Dog Public House (new closed). The cottage is situated on the intersection of the New and Old Buxton Roads that leads to the Cat and Fiddle public house. We offer a secure garage for cyclists and motorcycles with cleaning facilities.

Guests have access to a washer utility room with a an old styled basin for cleaning boots etc... Also we offer the use of a dryer and washing machines for those rainy days. We have a splendid living room with beamed ceiling with a kitchen, a warm stove burner and TV etc...

We offer parking space for your car and a secure garage to store your cycle or motorcycle with washing facilities. For guests that have no form of transport we offer transport from and to Macclesfield Railway Station so that you can enjoy the Peak District without the need of a car.
