Donna booked our guest house with short notice the same week we had one of the worst surge to ever hit Puerto Rico in a decade, affecting the beaches of the North side of Puerto Rico. Even though we confirmed that our beach house was in good conditions, we recommended that she spend her days on beaches more in the south-west of the island because of this phenomenon. Still she complained of the bad conditions of the beach at our guest house that obviously were not adequate since we got hit with waves that were up to 20ft tall and strong currents that affected this area as well.
That same week, because of the after effects of hurricane Maria, they started rationing the water in the west side of Puerto Rico. This wasn’t a problem for us because we have a water tank available. unfortunately it did have a noise when it was used that wasn’t going to be able to be fixed until she left the house but it didn’t affect her water supply whatsoever. We currently are no longer experiencing any more difficulties with the water in the west side of Puerto Rico anymore.
It’s very unfortunate that she arrived at a time of such bad weather during our winter season but we were available 24/7. Even though she wasn’t communicative, every time she called us we had people at her apartment to help and we did everything she asked us in less than 30minutes.
We are certain that this is a very nice place for families but unfortunately the weather conditions for this host didn’t allow us to prove it.
